Double driving time is the actual travel time between the origin (pickup address) and destination multiplied by 2. For example, if packing and loading takes 4 hours; driving between your new and previous place is 0.5 hour; unloading is 2 hours; then the total cost will be
loading: 4 hours
double driving time: 0.5 hour x 2 = 1 hours
unloading: 2 hours
Total time = 4 + 1 + 2 = 7 hours
Any move with more than 100-mile drive between an origin place and destination is considered as a ‘long-distance’ move. Here at FB Movers we provide flat rates for such moves.
Any flammable materials including gasoline in motorcycles, scooters, or lawn movers, and any poisons or compressed gasses, machinery and industrial equipment heavier than 300 pounds. We do not move firearms unless they are safely places in a lock box or safe.
All loose items must be packed in boxes to prevent loss or damage. It is recommended that you pack all the items and leave the drawers empty. You can hire us to pack those items for you.
